Benefits to You:
Uses a precision (Hy-Cal) Honeywell Humidity Sensor with a hydrophobic filter and thermocouple. The sensor can be replaced in the field.
Sensor can be extended with a wire extension kit.
The PMS has a large half-inch display with .4% increments.
Driven by a microprocessor and designed user friendly.
Has a four-key keyboard.
The internal relay's output is rated at 2 Amps, good for control wiring.
Has both normally open and normally closed contacts to increase the versatility.
Can be mounted on a 4X4 junction box.
Operates on a 9 volt battery.
Uses it's memory to recall both high and low humidity percentages since last reset.
Can be permanently installed or hand-held for convenience.
Can be an add-on to other temperature controls to turn off pumps with humidity.
Unit Features:
PIC16C558 EPROM-Based 8 Bit CMOS Microcontroller. This processor was chosen because it uses low power to achieve high-speed CMOS EPROM technology.
IH-3602-C (HY-CAL) now Honeywell -- Monolithic IC Humidity Sensor with Integral Precision RTD. This sensor has been used in poultry houses, using Pro-Tech controllers since May of 1990. This sensor has proven both to be accurate and reliable. Pro-Tech has incorporated a unique design which makes this sensor even more accurate. Calibrations are performed using a computer on the internet.
LCD Display. This low power display indicates the current Relative Humidity, whether the relay is on, and when the PMS is sampling via a plus symbol (+). It will indicate "LOW BATTERY" for 30 days before the battery must be replaced.
A four button tactile keyboard allows the operator to do the following:
Select a set-point for the relay to turn on or off.
Check the set-point.
Test the output.
See the High Relative Humidity since the PMS was last reset.
See the Low Relative Humidity since the PMS was last reset.
Reset the memory to clear history and begin recording a new High or Low Relative Humidity.
One key, when depressed, causes the PMS to read instantly with continuous sampling.
